Quick start guide
Prepare the essentials
You will need to make sure that the bottle provided is filled with salt water. To make the salt water, remove the screw cap and fill the bottle with drinkable water. Then, fill the top lid of the screw cap with regular kitchen salt and add it to the water.
The sponges provided are compressed and need to be hydrated before use. Moisten three dry sponges (1 mm thickness) with the salt water until they are fully expanded (5 mm thickness).
Tip: Fill the sponges’ case with salt water and dip both sides of the sponge in it.

Activate the headset by simply unfolding it.
You will hear a “click” sound when it’s fully opened and the logo on the left side will begin to blink blue. If the light does not blink, the headset may need recharging.
To turn it off, collapse the headset again.
Open the PlatoWork App. The headset will automatically connect with your phone as long as your bluetooth is on. The logo on the headset will turn fully blue once it is connected.
Make sure that the sponges are fully moist with salt water, but not dripping wet. Place the sponges in the black electrodes.
You will be provided a plastic case where you can store your sponges after use.
Find the sliders to adjust it to your head. (Marked with I II III IIIII). Adjust the sliders so that the headset fits well on your head.
Make sure that the two black textured silicone pads are placed above your ears and that you have the two sponges in the front and one sponge in the back.
Use four fingers to measure the distance between the centre of your eyebrows and the bottom of the two front sponges to ensure that the headset is correctly placed.
It is important to secure a good contact between sponges and skin. To secure good contact, there should be as little hair as possible under the sponges.
Enter the app and select your stimulation mode. Before a session starts, the headset will do a test to make sure everything is in place and to secure a good stimulation. It may take a few test sessions to ensure there is good contact.
Make sure that during stimulation you do NOT take off the headset. This could lead to a short but uncomfortable ‘sting’ under the active electrodes. It is normal to feel a bit of tingling during stimulation. However if it feels in any way uncomfortable, make sure to end the session.
The app will notify you when stimulation has begun. Stimulation is also indicated on the headset when the logo turns green and slowly flashes.
